Holly McFarland (Supervisor) and Jeannette Leong, TARRANT COUNTY FAMILY DRUG COURT
Before joining Tarrant County Challenge to coordinate the FDC program, Holly worked at Lena Pope Home for six years. As both a social worker and a lawyer, Holly worked in several capacities there, including as a therapist and as general counsel. Holly worked for a human rights organization in Argentina and taught middle school in San Francisco. Holly grew up in Arlington before going to college at University of California at Berkeley and graduate school at Washington University in St. Louis.
Child Protective Services Specialist and has worked at the Department of Family and Protective Services for the past three and a half years. Jeannette has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Hawaii, a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and completed all courses for the LCDC program at Tarrant County College. Jeannette is also an advocate for children outside of CPS. She is President of the Northwest ISD Board of trustees and is serving her third term as an elected school board official; Vice President of the North Texas Association of School Boards; secretary for the Haslet Fire Department Support Group; board member for Communities in Schools of North Texas; and former Tarrant County Child Advocate.
